Your first visit is typically an hour and a half.  We will take a full set of x-rays, do an exam and a cleaning.  We will occasionally need to request x-rays from your previous dentist depending on how recently they were taken.  Some gum conditions will require a separate appointment instead of a cleaning at the first visit.
