Dr. Philip Lindley is originally from Indiana and received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 1967. He received his doctorate of dental surgery (D.D.S.) from Indiana University/Purdue University School of Dentistry at Indianapolis in 1971. He then spent two years in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps at Chase Field in Beevile, Texas. After almost 10 years in East Texas, where he became President of the Smith County Dental Society, he returned to school and became the third dentist to receive a 27 month certificate in Oral Implantology from Loma Linda University in California. This was a full time didactic and clinical residency in the surgical placement and the final restorative phase of dental implants and associated graduate school studies. In 1985, he returned to East Texas where he limited his practice to dental implants and hospital dentistry. In 1993, he joined Park Cities Dental Group as an owner, where he enjoys a practice of general dentistry which includes dental implants, endodontics (root canals), cosmetic (crowns, bridges, veneers), Invisalign & OrthoClear (new procedures that straighten teeth without braces), Sleep Apnea dental devices (snore guards), Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) treatment and general restorative dentistry.
Dr. Lindley is a certified provider of Invisalign. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (F.I.O.C.I.). He also co-authored an article on dental implants with Dr. Robert James and Dr. Philip Boyne during his residency at Loma Linda.
Dr. Lindley is father of four children and resides in University Park in Dallas. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas. His interests include sailing and carpentry and he still enjoys the practice of dentistry after 35 years of experience.
